Who am I?

I am a historian specialised in the history, theory and criticism of architecture and urban planning. I have a passion for Heritage Architecture and Urban Conservation.

My academic preparation.

After finishing my degree in History in Mexico City, I moved to Romania where I studied a Master in History at the Babes-Bolyai University, then I finished a second Master at the University of Groningen, in The Netherlands, this time in History of Architecture and Town Planning. Most recently, I finished my PhD in Architecture at the University of Edinburgh in 2022.

What I do.

At the moment I am teaching Architectural Theory at the Universidad Panamericana Aguascalientes, while I keep writing and researching on architectural history and theory.
